4th Adria Advent Marathon November 30, 2014

My second marathon in Croatia and the second result
after the performance. The course was inspiring, not
too heavy,by the sea and by the river, two rounds.
Weather was pretty good, appropriate to run, 13
up to 15 degrees Celsius, the only thing is that the whole
weekend rain fell, but almost no wind either.

In the first part of the race, on average, I ran about 4
minutes and 50 seconds per kilometer, Final time dropped
the tempo down to about 5 minutes in 10 seconds
per kilometer. All in all
I could not avoid that final crisis after 35 kilometers,
but I had enough power at the end to
try to speed up a little, because I was attacked
by one Sylvia, which end up 5th in females.
Right hip was a bit hurt, and from wet
feet skin on the soles shriveled up, so
for the last 4 kilometers I had the feeling
like running on stones.

This was my first marathon at the coast,
on the Adriatic. In the half marathon I had a time of
about 1 hour and 43 minutes, and I finished the race in
3 hours 32 minutes and 48 seconds.

I am pleased with one more marathon,
the main goal to go under 3 hours
and 40 minutes has been achieved, but I
was a bit sorry that I did not go 3 hours and 30
minutes. Winner black man who ran for
Hungarian Benedek ran about 2 hours and 26
minutes while female Marija Vrajić from
Croatia went about 2 hours and 55 minutes.
