9th Birthday half marathon of ARK Tron

9th Birthday half marathon of ARK Tron 03/05/2019. Palić Serbia

On Saturday, March 5th, 2016 was held birthday race of ARK
Tron, 9th in a row. It attracted over 600 runners: 350
having started the half marathon race, and 300 started
SRCEF Fun Run at 5 kilometers. The weather was
dry, with a slightly chilly wind. The track was new, ie
first 4 laps along the shore of Palic, in addition to the side
road through the park. The race was good.

At the opening of the season I broke a personal record in the half marathon.
According to the chip I went 1:30:54, although the official clock shows
1:31:04. I am satisfied, through the winter were my good trainings,
although my tempo has dropped a lot during one part of race. Željko Kujic
from my club was better.
In the overall standings I
took 31st place and in the men’s competition was the 29th

On the right sing I had torn sock, so I
suffered a minor injury on the leg. Blue green Reebok
shoes with thicker soles are broken on the inside of the
right leg, so I got bloody blisters, which
I have managed to heal these days.

If the morning shows the day, according to the opening race of the
calendar year, I hope a good race season –
year.
